SOUTA Kiln was founded in 1997 by Naoya Morokuma in Yamauchi Town, located next to Arita in Saga Prefecture.
The Tako-Karakusa (octopus arabesque) pattern—one of Souta Kiln’s signature motifs—features graceful spirals accented by simplified leaf forms, a time-honored design passed down through generations.
The indigo lines, meticulously painted all the way to the rim, frame your food beautifully and bring a refined elegance to any table.
Among Souta Kiln’s collection, this is one of the largest and deepest plates, making it highly versatile for both everyday use and special occasions.
A thoughtful and practical gift, this plate adds timeless artistry to any home.
