SOUTA Kiln was founded in 1997 by Naoya Morokuma in Yamauchi Town, located next to Arita in Saga Prefecture.
While preserving the traditions of Arita ware, the kiln creates tableware designed to suit modern lifestyles.
Their pieces are beloved across generations for their gentle, hand-fitting forms and approachable reinterpretations of classical patterns.
The Tokusa Bowl features a hand-painted Tokusa (vertical grass) motif, inspired by the straight, upward growth of traditional Japanese plants.
Each line radiating inward from the rim is carefully drawn by hand, reflecting the warmth and skill of the artisan.
Souta Kiln’s bowls are designed to feel natural and comfortable in the hand, making them ideal for daily use.
The larger bowl is painted in indigo, while the smaller version features a vibrant red, making them perfect as a matching pair of rice bowls for couples.

Caution
As each piece is hand-painted, variations in shading and line thickness may occur. These are signs of its handmade character and uniqueness.
Wash gently using a mild detergent and a soft sponge. Avoid scrubbing with abrasive materials.
While dishwasher safe, please ensure delicate items are placed to avoid contact with harder tableware.
For plates with colored patterns or gold accents, avoid vigorous scrubbing, as it may cause fading.

佐賀県有田町の隣に位置する山内町で、諸隈直哉氏によって1997年に創業されたそうた窯。有田焼の伝統技法を用いながら、現代のライフスタイルに合ううつわ作りを行っています。手になじむ温かみのあるフォルムに、古典柄を親しみやすくアレンジした文様を入れたうつわは、幅広い年齢層で愛されています。
「染付呉須十草 姫碗」は、植物の十草をイメージした文様を手描きで丁寧に描いた姫碗です。そうた窯の姫碗は、手に持った時にしっくりとなじむ使い心地が魅力。大きい姫碗は藍色、小さめの姫碗は赤色とサイズによって異なる色で文様が施されており、夫婦で使うのにも最適です。まっすぐ上に伸びていく十草をモチーフにした文様は、縁から中心に向かった一本一本の線が職人による手作業で描かれています。そのシンプルでありながら味わい深い文様からは、作り手の温もりを感じられるでしょう。 |

| お手入れ方法 |
・中性洗剤と柔らかいスポンジで洗ってください。硬いスポンジで洗ったり、ゴシゴシ強く洗ったりすることはお避けください。
・基本的には食洗機対応ですが、特に薄い食器などは他の食器とぶつからないようにご注意ください。
・色絵や金彩などは、強く洗うと色が落ちることがあるのでご注意ください。
・「錦赤十草 姫碗（小）」の赤い文様は、食洗器の使用を続けると絵付け部分が剥がれたり、変色したりする場合があります。できるだけ食洗器や漂白剤の使用はお避けください。 |
