Mini Kagamibiraki Set / Gan-Tan(New Year's Day)

Kagamibiraki, literally meaning “opening mirror, Eis a Japanese traditional celebration at a ceremony or holiday by cracking open a sake barrel with wooden mallets for a good opening and start, and sharing the sake with people and make a toast. This is a desktop size miniature set of the sake barrel container and mallets.
This design represents the kanji characters of “New Year’s Day E The first kanji character means “beginning Eand the second character means “horizon E
The two kanji characters together mean “New Year’s Day = the first sunrise E
