Kagamibiraki, literally means “opening mirror,” is a Japanese traditional celebration at a ceremony or holiday by cracking open a sake barrel with wooden mallets for a good opening and start, and sharing the sake with people gathered and making a toast. This is a desktop size miniature set of the sake barrel container and mallets.
A dove often is called a symbol of peace. This design represents the ceremony of ""Pigeon Release"" that releases doves to the sky for wishing eternal happiness.
