A copper yosenabe (Japanese hot pot) from Nakamura Douki has beautiful hammered patterns and a greater thermal conductivity. You can cook ingredients faster with a copper pot. Avoid leaving foods in the pot because it may rust. After using the pot, wash it by hand and then dry it with a soft clean cloth. Do not heat an empty copper yosenabe because the tin lining may begin to melt.
