Handcrafted in Iwate Prefecture, Japan, the Onigiri Grill by Rikuchō Ogasawara is a compact cast-iron pan made for grilling onigiri—Japanese rice balls—to crispy perfection. Using the traditional Nambu Tekki casting method, each piece is individually molded to achieve exceptional heat retention and even cooking.
Rikuchō Ogasawara (1929–2012) was a pioneering figure in modern Japanese cast-iron design. His works blend everyday usability with sculptural beauty and are still produced today by skilled successors in Morioka, Iwate.
