A slate plate made of a material of Ogatsu inkstone. Ogatsu stone, also known as Gensho stone, is a natural stone mined in Ogatsu, Miyagi, Japan. It is highly water and fire resistant and lasts for a long time. The matte black slate plate looks classy and matches gold or silver cutlery well. It also keeps dishes warm and cool by warming up / refrigerating the plate in advance. However, it is not suitable for direct heat or microwave. This plate is medium sized and good for serving a main dish. It also can be used as a dinner plate and lunch plate.
