Under the clear sky, the magnificent peaks of the Northern Alps spread out in front of you. "Okubo House Woodworking House" is a workshop nestled on a hill overlooking the city of Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, which is known throughout Japan as a city of crafts. Kotaro Okubo, a woodworker, faces wood every day at this place.
Living tools that are carefully carved out one by one. A simple yet original shape and overwhelming usage, such as a boomerang-shaped "wooden spatula", a mortar-shaped "bread plate", and a spatula-like "jam spoon", which are synonymous with Mr. Okubo's work. There are many professional cooks who are fascinated by the comfort.
When you actually use it, the large curve that forms the "wooden spatula" is calculated to fit the curve of the frying pan or pot, and the corners that are cut off only at the tip should cut the ingredients. You realize that it was meant to serve as a spatula, and you'll be amazed at its stunning functionality.
