Collection: Shizu Hamono
It is said that "it does not bend, it does not bend, and it cuts well", and it is loved by a lot of warlords because of the beauty of seki's sword. Located in the center of Japan, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, is a knife-making town that was once known as the "Toto City". It is said to be the three largest cutlery producing areas in the world, along with Solingen in Germany and Sheffield in The United Kingdom.
Shizu Hamono Co., Ltd. was born in Seki City in Showa 55. While inheriting the superior techniques and traditions of sword masters from the Kamakura period, we are now making mainly household cutlery.
Please note:
Due to a high volume of orders, production is currently taking longer than usual.
In some cases, it may take around 30 business days or more to prepare your order.
